WHAT IS THE WIGHT PROMS FESTIVAL?
It is an annual open-air boutique festival, created by singer and Cowes resident Mike Christie in 2018 to give something back to his hometown and the Isle of Wight, celebrating comedy, opera, drag, dance, sport, musical theatre, country music and classical proms, alongside arts workshops for children. This year it will be part of the North Sails Cowes Week's 200th anniversary celebrations.
TWO TICKET OPTIONS.
All tickets are sold exclusively on this website. Most tickets are 'Lawn' tickets where you bring your own folding chair or blanket (general admission on the grass, with blankets assigned in a specific area). There is also a limited number of VIP seating, where seating and tables are provided

Liza Pulman and Joe Stilgoe’s combined love and exhaustive movie knowledge is on technicolour display here as they bring some of these great movie-musical songs to life on the stage. The festival reaches its climax in a rousing celebration of British music and flag-waving, including Pomp & Circumstance, Jerusalem and many more, with this year being extra special; tying in with Cowes Week's 200th anniversary celebrations.
Starring G4's MIKE CHRISTIE and the WIGHT PROMS CONCERT ORCHESTRA, conducted by the Isle of Wight Symphony Orchestra's JONATHAN BUTCHER.
Featuring the orchestral première of ‘The Voice of Nature’ which festival founder Mike Christie wrote to honour Sir David Attenborough's 100th birthday this year, as well as the official song for Walk the Wight he wrote, 'Walk the Wight With You'.

Due to the licensing at the venue, you can NOT bring your own alcohol, as only alcohol purchased on site can be consumed, otherwise you would be breaking the law. Please make sure that all of your party are aware of this. There will be a bar on site with a range of tipples, as well as non-alcoholic hot and cold drinks for you to purchase. Please note that all monies from drinks sales go directly to Northwood House Charitable Trust to help maintain its grade II* listed Georgian manor house and its gardens.

We are not able to accommodate dogs on site during the festival, except for registered guide dogs.
OPENING TIMES

Our gates will open at the times stated on the event ticket pages, at which time you can visit the bar and enjoy our food options.

There is an on-site car park (entrance on Ward Avenue) which you can pre-book when buying your tickets, or pay on the day.
PLEASE NOTE

These are outdoor concerts. Only VIP Lounge tickets include seating, and other ticket-holders are expected to sit on the lawn and bring their own blanket or folding chair. For those bringing seating, you may be asked to position yourselves in a designated area to avoid blocking the view of those behind you, so we advise bringing a blanket to sit on if you want to be close to the stage. Please do not bring gazebos or tables!

When you buy tickets you can donate to our associated local charity Independent Arts who use the arts to improve well-being, quality of life and to reduce social isolation on the Isle of Wight, since 1987 (Charity No. 297474). You can meet them on site in person during the festival and find out what they do!

The shows will take place no matter what the weather, and ticket-holders will only receive a refund if the concert itself is cancelled by the organiser.
