Stay at Home Gala
Showing Support for IOW NHS
We hope that you are all keeping safe and well at these most challenging of times.
We are still keeping everything crossed that we can go ahead as planned with the Wight Proms at Northwood House this year on 21-23 August, but it's too early to call at this stage, and we will of course keep you posted here.
In the meantime, we are launching the 'Wight Proms - Stay at Home Gala' which is a 1-hour online concert to thank, raise money for and show our appreciation for the NHS on the Isle of Wight, who risk their lives daily for us to stay safe. It will be a collection of performances recorded exclusively for this gala, by the artistes from their homes.
The gala will take place online TONIGHT (Friday 15th May) at 7pm via the Wight Proms' YouTube channel.
Isle of Wight NHS
This gala is a fundraiser with all money raised going to the IOW NHS Trust Fund [Charity registration No.1049606]
NHS Isle of Wight is the only integrated acute, community, mental health and ambulance health care provider in England. Established in April 2012, the Trust provides a full range of health services to our isolated offshore population of 140,000. NHS Isle of Wight supports Islanders and visitors with good quality services. By supporting their charitable fund you can help with the ‘extras’ like equipment, enhanced facilities and staff training, plus helping to keep their staff safe at this difficult time.
The concert will be FREE to watch, with appearances from some familiar faces and a celebration of island talent, and we would ask you to consider donating in return when watching.
